The Relay for Life walk was a huge success. The heat on Saturday didn't stop the Wanderers from completing the 18 hour walk. Our Yarra Road staff were full of laughs and smiles during the event.

NEWS 

1. Relay for Life - Kate Garside has organised a team to participate in Relay for Life 2009. It is an event to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and fight back against the disease. Teams must take it in turns to keep a baton moving in a relay style walk overnight. The team is called 'The Wanderers' and includes Kate, her family, and teachers Jodie Ross, Hazel Van Loenen, Rhiana Macrae and Georgina Drew and our Assistant Principal Kate Perkins. Relay for Life takes place at 4pm on Saturday the 7th of November and finishes on Sunday the 8th of November. If you would like to donate please click the link: Donate to The Wanderers! 

2. On Tuesday the 10th of November The Camp Quality Puppet Show will be presenting their show to the whole school at 2pm in the gymnasium.

3. The school is supporting Remembrance Day by selling Poppies (.50cents), Wrist Bands ($3.00) and Pins ($2.00).
